The Australian spelling is dialogue.
The American spelling is dialog.
As a person who programs computers the spelling used in the programming language syntax is dialog,
but this isn't the spelling which should be used in documentation.
It is very common because a large amount of our software comes from the United States
for the spelling dialog to appear on screens and in documentation.
However the spelling in Australia is dialogue.
